Sambuca is
Michael Copley (recorder and other wind instruments) and Peter Martin
(guitar, lute, theorbo, baroque guitar). We are proud to present our
new CD on the Seaview label, released in May 2004.
Sambuca stretches the meaning of 'original'
instruments, from deeply authentic baroque to wilfully unauthentic
Mascagni. Share our enjoyment of four hundred years of music
plundered from all over Europe and beyond.
We're delighted that the CD has been heard
on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction (5 and 11 August 2004) and In
Tune (26 July, live appearance by Sambuca).
