Music from the Greatest
English Lute Manuscript A programme from the most important
collection of English golden age lute music, Matthew Holmes's lute book,
housed in Cambridge University Library. I'll be playing this
programme in concerts in the UK and Germany in May
2010.

Renaissance Music by renaissance masters in solo lute
versions by their contemporaries. Music on a private scale, enjoyed
in an intimate setting in the great houses of renaissance
Europe.
Varietie of Lute
Lessons This 400th anniversary programme includes a dozen or so pieces from
Robert Dowland's Varitie of Lute Lessons, published in 1610, plus a
selection of other English lute music from the
period.
