I've always had a dual professional career, in music and in finance, areas that both interest me greatly. Most of the time I've had the good fortune to been able to combine the two. Music I play the classical guitar. And the
lute. And the theorbo, baroque guitar, recorder, ocarina,
piano... Too many instruments? I don't think
so. They feed my wide range of musical
interests and curiosity. I studied music at Churchill
College, Cambridge and embarked on an early career as a
guitarist. I've continued to play concerts throughout and, since
2005, music has once again been my main professional
activity. Finance Two years after graduating, I took a huge leap and joined Arthur Andersen & Co, chartered accountants, in London. individual guitar and lute tuition; residential music courses for disabled
people; business English for French managers, and general English for
French adults and school students. And, of course, the continuing
staff development that comes as part of being a company director.
